Read this before you rely on the timer for a trade. It is a clock, not a data feed. It does not connect to any exchange and cannot know whether a market is actually open.

3. How the timings are calculated

ElementHow it works
Current timeYour device clock, converted to a fixed IST offset of UTC+5:30. If your device clock is wrong, the timer is wrong.
Candle boundariesComputed from the session anchor you select (for example 09:15 for NSE), not fetched from an exchange.
Session countdownBased on the open and close times configured in Settings, Monday to Friday.
AlertsPlayed by your browser. They can be missed if the tab is suspended, the device is muted, or audio is blocked.
